DESCRIPTION:Starting at the age of 4 Corey Redgrift began his musical journey as a classical piano player that over time absorbed many differing styles into his playing including jazz\, pop\, rock\, and video game music. He covers popular songs from the 70’s to the present and while keeping faithful to the originals still manages to put his own personal spin on them. Playing gigs with just solo piano and vocals is very special and intimate to him and he says there is nothing quite like it. He has done sound design and music composition for multiple video game titles most notably Call of Duty: Black Ops\, and currently still performs with a full cover band in the Orange County area called Past to Present. As a firm believer that music is one of the most powerful forces in existence he strives to capture its magic and brilliance each time he sits behind the piano.

DESCRIPTION:The Irvine Barclay Theatre Jazz Band gets the weekend started with classic Billboard hits from the 70s\, 80s\, 90s and 2000s! \nPianist and composer Ron Kobayashi has performed with a variety of musical artists including Mel Torme\, Peter Frampton\, Kenny Burrell\, Tom Scott\, Margaret Whiting\, Peter White among others. In 1992 Ron performed for President Bill Clinton. Ron has made numerous television appearances including on The Johnny Yune Show\, The Jerry Lewis Telethon and The CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. \nFor more than 20 years\, Ron has been playing festivals and clubs throughout California\, Florida\, Arizona and Nevada and recorded five CDs and one DVD to date.
